AI Scribe Pilot
A donor-funded AI Scribe pilot in the Emergency department securely documents patient encounters in real time, reducing the administrative burden on physicians. With less time spent on documentation, physicians can see an estimated two to three additional patients per shift, improving access to care for Saskatchewan patients.
SPECT/CT Machine
A new SPECT/CT machine is in place at RUH, thanks to donor generosity. This diagnostic tool combines two imaging technologies in a single scan, giving physicians a more complete picture of how the body’s organs and tissues are functioning. Detailed imaging helps detect and treat a wide range of conditions with greater accuracy. This purchase was made possible by a $2 million gift from Irene and Leslie Dubé.
