Across Saskatchewan and beyond, community members are finding meaningful ways to support better health care. From signature events to educational gatherings and grassroots initiatives, these efforts are helping fund innovation, enhance patient care and improve outcomes for patients and families.
Greek Gourmet Feast
The Greek Gourmet Feast has been a beloved Saskatoon tradition since 1984, hosted each year by Manos Restaurant & Lounge. This year’s sold-out evening of Greek hospitality raised more than $175,000 to support the expansion of the Intensive Care Unit at Royal University Hospital, helping ensure more patients across the province can access life-saving critical care when every second counts.
Through their planning organization, and community engagement, these volunteers help deliver one of the Foundation’s most successful fundraising events in support of patient care and innovation at RUH:

Prairies to Palms

Dulle’s Neurology Fundraiser
Created by grateful RUH patient Brennon Dulle, this community event raised more than $40,000 to support neurology priorities, including professional development for staff, advanced technology and patient-centred care for people living with neurological conditions across Saskatchewan.
Inspired by his own patient experience, Brennon Dulle continues to rally community support for neurology care, research, technology, and education at RUH.
Wild Rose 4-H Beef Club Charity Steer Project
$55,830 raised — and doubled through a matching gift — to help bring a stereotactic seizure robot to RUH, advancing care for people living with epilepsy.
Owen and Erin the steer became the heart of a community fundraising effort that raised $55,830 for epilepsy care — an impact doubled through a matching gift by Merlis Belsher and Family.
