Fellowships & Scholarships
Donor support is helping health-care professionals build specialized skills and bring new knowledge to Saskatchewan.
In 2025, the following four physicians were awarded a total of $150,000 in fellowship funding:
Dr. Ingrid Tam: Hematopathology, University of Toronto
Dr. Victoria Tian: Chronic pain management, McGill University
Dr. Thomas Russell Lenferna de la Motte: Advanced training in Pre-Anesthetic Consultation, Perioperative Management and Medical Education, Royal Perth and Bentley Hospitals
Dr. Matthew Stewart: Cardiothoracic radiology, University of Toronto
These opportunities help attract and retain talented clinicians while strengthening the expertise available to patients at Royal University Hospital and across the province.

Donors are also investing in the next generation of health-care professionals through scholarships that reduce financial barriers to education. This year, eight students received a total of $9,000 in funding. By supporting learners at every stage of their careers, donors are helping ensure Saskatchewan patients have access to skilled, compassionate care for years to come.
