Over the past year, Royal University Hospital Foundation has been deeply honoured to receive several generous estate gifts from individuals who chose to remember the work that is being done at Royal University Hospital (RUH) through their Wills. These gifts, left as part of a final legacy, are among the most meaningful we receive—not only for their financial impact, but for the enduring commitment they represent.
Each bequest is a powerful act of hope and generosity. This year, legacy gifts have helped us expand critical programs, fund new initiatives, and support those we serve in ways that would not have been possible otherwise. Whether it was a gift designated for a specific project or an unrestricted bequest to be used where the need is greatest, every contribution has played a vital role in advancing education, research and patient care at RUH.
We are deeply grateful to those who have included us in their estate plans. Their foresight and compassion continue to create change long after their lifetime, leaving a lasting mark on the lives we touch.
To the families and executors who have honoured the wishes of their loved ones by guiding these gifts to us—we thank you. And to those considering this deeply personal and impactful way of giving, we welcome the opportunity to talk with you about how your legacy can make a lasting difference.

Every Gift Matters
No matter the size, every gift—large or small—has a lasting impact. Each contribution helps improve the lives of patients, brings comfort to families, and strengthens the care teams who work tirelessly every day.
Together, these gifts make it possible to build a healthier future for our community.
