Greek Gourmet Feast

If you like gourmet food, entertainment and fun (and who doesn’t!) then you don’t want to miss this premier event! Hosted by Manos and held each year in March, the Greek Gourmet Feast stimulates your senses and supports priorities at Royal University Hospital.

This year’s event looked a little different, but we were just as excited to present the Greek “On the Go” Gourmet Feast — and what a fantastic ten-day Greek Gourmet Feast it was! Thank you to our guests who stayed home and stayed safe; our Presenting Sponsor, Nutrien; Taso Barlas, Manolis Barlas, Chef Richard and all the staff from Mano’s Restaurant & Lounge on 8th for preparing 360 incredible 5-course meals over the course of 10 days; and all of our wonderful sponsors. The sold out event raised $64,000 (net) to help support the transformation of the 43-year-old operating rooms at Royal University Hospital through our Mission Possible: Operation New O.R. Campaign!

Special thanks to Manolis and Taso from Manos who make this event an evening to remember. We are so thankful to this cherished partnership!

Over the past 36 years, community leaders, businesses, grateful patients, physicians, medical professionals and other guests have raised over $1,172,000 (net) for patient care, innovative research and education at Royal University Hospital. By attending, you will continue that tradition and help us provide the best possible care to someone you may know – a friend, neighbour or loved one.

At past events, our gracious hosts at Manos Restaurant, created a tradition of Greek hospitality for you. You entered Manos Restaurant with traditional Greek music at the reception, followed by a delicious five-course authentic Greek dinner. Thank you to Manos for hosting such an enjoyable (and mouth-watering!) event every year!
