Greek Gourmet Feast

If you like gourmet food, entertainment and fun (and who doesn’t!) then you don’t want to miss this premier event! Hosted by Manos and held each year in March, the Greek Gourmet Feast stimulates your senses and supports priorities at Royal University Hospital.

Thanks to the generosity of over 200 guests, RUH Foundation’s 36th Annual Greek Gourmet Feast presented by Nutrien raised $65,000 to support the $1.2 million dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for patients living with epilepsy. Did you know that more than 10,000 people in Saskatchewan have epilepsy? Epilepsy is common: 1 in 10 people have a seizure in their lifetime. Proceeds of the 2020 Greek Gourmet Feast will help to create and equip a dedicated specialized epilepsy monitoring unit at Royal University Hospital that will significantly impact the lives of patients with epilepsy, their families and the medical teams who care for them.

Special thanks to the Manos family and staff who continue to make this event an evening to remember. We are so thankful to this cherished partnership!

Over the past 36 years, community leaders, businesses, grateful patients, physicians, medical professionals and other guests have raised over $1,168,000 (net) for patient care, innovative research and education at Royal University Hospital. By attending, you will continue that tradition and help us provide the best possible care to someone you may know – a friend, neighbour or loved one.

Our gracious hosts at Manos Restaurant, have created a tradition of Greek hospitality for you. As our guests, you will enter Manos Restaurant and be greeted with traditional Greek music at the reception, followed by a delicious five-course authentic Greek dinner. Thank you to Manos and the Barlas Family for hosting such an enjoyable (and mouth-watering!) event every year!
