
Congratulations to Drs. Mina Niazi and Gudrun Caspar-Bell, recipients of the 2024 Women Leading Philanthropy (WLP) $100,000 Grant! Their groundbreaking project, Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Osteoporosis in Women with Chronic Liver Disease, will transform care for women facing this serious, often-overlooked health issue.
At the annual WLP voting meeting, over 100 passionate donors came together to champion innovative health-care initiatives, ultimately selecting Drs. Niazi and Caspar-Bell’s project for its potential to make a lasting impact. This milestone marks another step forward in advancing women’s health and research at Royal University Hospital.
