A team of trauma specialists from Royal University Hospital travelled more than 1,000 kilometres north to Stony Rapids, one of Saskatchewan’s most remote communities, to train local first responders and health-care workers in emergency care. The program is funded by donors, including a $300,000 gift from Orano Canada.
