Royal University Hospital Foundation’s Women Leading Philanthropy $100,000 Grant

Royal University Hospital Foundation’s Women Leading Philanthropy (WLP) is a program that awards an annual $100,000 grant to fund innovative health-care initiatives led by female physicians, practitioners and researchers at Royal University Hospital. Through donor support, we inspire transformative advancements in health care while furthering women’s leadership in health.
While funding for basic programs, training, research and equipment at RUH is covered through the general health authority budget, specialization and innovation are driven by individual support through donations to RUH Foundation. On an annual basis, the 120+ WLP donors select and fund a women-led health initiative that makes an impact and shapes the future care of patients and families at RUH. WLP donors have awarded $800,000 since the program’s inception in 2018 and another $536,000 from individual donors who supported projects that they personally wanted to see move forward!
RUH Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 WLP $100,000 Grant.
