Royal University Hospital (RUH) Foundation’s 39th Annual Greek Gourmet Feast, hosted by Manos Restaurant and presented by Nutrien, raised more than $83,000 (net) at a sold-out event last night!
“It’s a huge honour hosting the Greek Gourmet Feast the past 24 years,” says Taso Barlas, Owner of Manos. “Our family and our staff are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Royal University Hospital Foundation in enhancing the care patients receive at RUH.”
Proceeds from the 2023 Greek Gourmet Feast support RUH Foundation’s Mission Possible: Operation New O.R. campaign to help fund much-needed new state-of-the-art equipment and other enhancements to RUH’s current operating rooms and related areas that were built in 1978.
“Support from the 39th Annual Greek Gourmet Feast will provide RUH’s dedicated and skilled surgical teams with what they need to save and improve more lives now and for years to come,” says Jennifer Molloy, CEO, RUH Foundation.
The 39th Annual Greek Gourmet Feast’s success was due to the generosity of the guests who attended the event, as well as the incredible sponsors: Nutrien; Manos; RBC PH&N Investment Counsel; S.O. Asher Consultants Ltd.; SaskTel; Ens Auto; Schaan Home Healthcare; BDO; Saskatchewan Blue Cross; EY LLP; Cuelenaere LLP; Daniels Wingerak Engineering Ltd.; Fuddruckers; and Golf’s Car Wash.
Since its inception in 1984, the Greek Gourmet Feast has raised more than $1.4 million (net) for RUH Foundation.
RUH Foundation, thanks to the generosity of donors from across the province during the past 40 years, has invested more than $163 million in support of innovative patient care, education, and research initiatives at RUH.
